Meet the fifth and the largest team of our TV project called "HOME IDEA with IKEA". Let us introduce you to Rūta and Marius, their five children, a puppy Snaigė and our interior designer Vaiva Klezienė who took a challenge to upgrade the room of three family's tots.
Step into a seven-person family apartment full of flexible solutions that help the family create a happy balance between their togetherness and (definitely sometimes necessary) solitude.
Meet Jurgita, Andrius and their newborn Rokas who has already got his own room. IKEA interior designer Birutė Beniušė has assisted the young family in furnishing the future room for their little one, who will live there when he turns 3 years old.
It’s a joy to see teenagers in a stimulating and creative workspace of their own that really supports who they’re growing into. A desk to centre around, comfortable seating for hangouts with friends, good lighting for all activities and lots of smart storage.
Getting good sleep is important, as is learning good bedtime habits for later in life. So, don’t underestimate a setup that sets devices aside and helps you wind down – perhaps with some nice music or a good read.
Interior designer Toma invites you to a small apartment designed for a young family of three, where each solution is made to help live a bit more sustainable. In this modern style apartment, a kitchen is connected to a living room that also serves as a bedroom and a home office. The space is free of walls and partitions, but always full of action.
If you are curious to take a closer look at this apartment, visit IKEA Vilnius and head to the Showroom on the 2nd floor.
Welcome to a world where little ones rule, and where growing together is the greatest adventure of all. Subtle elements of nature pop up throughout this adorable space, bringing the thrill of the outdoors to both play and bedtime. Longlasting furniture, like extendable beds and adjustable wardrobes, will see them through many fun-filled years ahead.
They met, they fell in love and after some time, they decided to blend their lives, their families and their home. Together with their four children and much-loved hound, they’ve created a place that is distinctly their own, where there is much exploring to be done, inside and outdoors – together and alone.
Evaldas and Agnė are expecting a baby boy, who already has a name – it’s Benas. The newly baked parents decided to dedicate a separate room for their new family member. The space is small and oddly shaped, but the couple wants to fit all the necessary furniture there. How to choose the right furniture for the growing baby? To find the answer, this week’s heroes teamed up with our interior designer Gabrielė Leistrumaitė.
Welcome to tips and ideas about everything from baby’s first days to how growing kids can keep their things tidy and organised. Playing, storing, personalising their space and more – it’s all here to help you make your home better for everyone.
Coming home with your baby there are certainly a few things that will make your new plus-one life easier. But don’t worry, it’s not as much as you might think. Here are some tips for putting together a good start kit for you and your baby.
Of course you want everything to be perfect before the new arrival. But relax, here are some baby room ideas that will make it easy to set up a calm and caring corner for your baby and you.

Greetings from Šiauliai, where the charming family of Čeponiai resides. In their not quite big home, the two children, seven-year-old Patricia and five-year-old Motiejus, live in a shared room. With Patricia already attending school and Motiejus on the verge of beginning, both require a dedicated space to concentrate on their homework or engage in crafts without interruption. The challenge? Of course. Have we managed to overcome it? Don't even doubt it.
