New in the IKEA Showroom: studio apartment for gamers

Have you ever wondered what a gamer's home might look like? Step into our Showroom and see for yourself. Here, our interior designer Gintarė has crafted a studio apartment with everything that a video game lover could dream of.

If you’d like to experience this space in person, visit the IKEA Vilnius store (Vikingų st. 1) and head to the 2nd floor.

Four rooms in one

Given the limited space in this apartment, the gaming room has to share space with three other functional areas: living room, dining room and kitchen. To maximise space, our interior designer has cleverly arranged all the large furniture around the perimeter and furnished each area in the same industrial style for a unified look. As the imaginary owner of this apartment rarely cooks, there's no need to have a spacious kitchen. However, it still includes all the essential functions, while the living room doubles as a gaming space for those days when more players come by to share the experience.

Better furniture for better results

Even furniture can enhance the fun and success of gaming. When you're comfortable, your movements are more precise, making victories easier to achieve. Sit comfortably at the UPPSPEL height-adjustable desk, on a chair that adapts to your body's contours and enjoy the game!

A personal display

BESTÅ glass-door cabinet is a great place to keep your valuable figurines and other collectables while protecting them from dust. You can move or remove the tempered glass and particleboard shelves as needed - perfect if you have slightly bigger things that you like and want to show off.

Extension of the virtual world

To help one get into the game and create the right atmosphere, the room is equipped with smart lighting solutions. By adjusting the brightness and colours of the LED strips, it's easy to match the room's ambiance to the vitual world on the screen.
