This week we invite you to visit a place where we have already been. Some time ago, “Home idea with IKEA” went there, to the family crisis centre in Kaunas, to create a homely atmosphere in the family rooms and lounge area. This time, our interior designer Ūla returns to upgrade their kitchen and a living-dining room.
This apartment is designed for city-dwellers with a social lifestyle – enabling impromptu dinner parties, putting favourite things on display, and hiding what is needed but not meant to be seen. There is less space for storage, so this means thinking creatively, like a sofa that fits everything – including things you might not expect.
Like most holidays, Easter is equal parts feast, family and friends – and spending more time at the table, which is reason enough to give more attention to its decoration. Ready to make festive meals together just that bit more special?
